I LOVE fall time and this year is no different. I love it most of all because it means Christmas is right around the corner. I love the crisp air, fall leaves, pumpkin farms, hot chocolate, pumpkin pie, family days.....it is all so much fun and since having kids it is even more fun. Lance LOVES fall because of the college football and I hate to admit I kind of do as well, not for the football but for the excuse to lounge around, nap, or catch up on my blogging. I always say I am going to get into the football more and learn more about it and each year I fail....naps just seem so much more appealing...ha!
We started out this fall with a trip to the Apple Orchard with Lance's family and it was so much fun. Nana, Papa, Blake and Brittany joined us....we missed Anna! This is the first time we have been apple picking as a family, and I wish I could say the apples were wonderful.....but they weren't that great. Maybe it was because it was a little early in the season, but we had fun and that is all that matters. It was nice just to hang out as a family and do something different.

The petting zoo was Katelyn's favorite! She was so stinking excited about the animals. She LOVES animals so much. She just squeals every time she gets close to one. I love how she carried her baby with her all day.
This turkey was hilarious! It would let the kids pet it but didn't really want anything to do with the adults.
The dreaded Family Picture.......why do these have to be so difficult? I guess this is just a season.....hoping one day for some better family shots.
